Welcome to the Hassayampa Inn

Since the day it opened in 1927, the Hassayampa Inn has been a sought-after retreat for travelers desiring attentive service in a charming and relaxed environment. The hand-painted ceiling beams; wall murals; rich glazed tiling; etched and stained glass windows and doors all combine to create an atomosphere that is both warm and inviting. Sit in the courtyard and enjoy a coffee in Prescott's temperate weather. When the weather cools sit by a roaring fire in the Lobby with a libation or listen to live jazz every night in the Cowboy Bar. Hassayampa is a Yavapai word meaning, "River that runs upside down." The Hassayampa River runs mostly underground. -Downtown Prescott features - Americas Hometown Courthouse Square--The Inn is less than a block from the square and is walking distance to many shops, galleries, antique stores and more. ...read more

Location was close to historic downtown.
A
little bit worn at the edges and the
parking in street.

Good value at $50 for a traveler looking for a clean and decent place to spend the night, but no frills.

The lobby was very nice and decorated for the season (Halloween) which I thought was a special touch.
Rooms are small which was OK for an historic hotel but the furnishings were shabby, old TV, etc.

This historic hotel has a beautiful lobby and public areas. The restaurant served delicious food for a good price. They served cookies and milk or coffee) each evening which was very sweet. Our room was small with outdated (but not historically correct antique furnishings which would have been fine). The bed frame, dresser, nightstand, and desk appeared to be 1970's wooden furniture like you would see at a yard sale, cabin, or dorm room. ...read more

Historic renovated hotel.
Creaky old and noisy wood floors, thin walls, shower mold and
wireless charge.

Loved the way the hotel was decorated for the holiday.
Not quite what I expected. But is doable.

It was old and historic in nature.
Rooms were not three star quality, and had to use stairs and our room was on 4th floor.

Interesting hotel, very rustic and historic, beautiful lobby and a very good restaurant is attached.

Quaint; historic; within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Carpet needed cleaning; bedding needs to be updated so old blankets are enclosed in sheets and comforters are not used.

Free phone and internet service in room.
Small bathroom, operator run elevator so had to take the stairs most of the time.

The historical feel and atmosphere was just what we wanted.
The TV was tiny.

Great staff, ancient/historic feel, it was just what we were looking for. Location was amazing, a skip away from Whiskey Row.
